Overview:
As a Mobile App Developer, you will work directly with UX Designers and Product Owner to develop iOS mobile applications and solutions to ensure highest performance and best user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design and implement new features/functionality primarily using the following technologies: Objective-C, JSON, XML, PList
- Work on multiple projects and manage time effectively
- Participate in requirement gathering process and propose solutions.
- Provide timely and accurate communication of status to team, project and technical leads
- Consult with project lead on identification of problems and suggest solutions for the resolution of coding issues
- Collaborate with remote development teams in Romania & US to leverage existing applications and infrastructure as well as for ongoing implementation and testing efforts
- New technologies and techniques and adapt to dynamic business requirements
- Ensure that every coding path is unit tested and bug-free.
- Participate in full integration testing.
- Rapidly address issues and fix defects discovered during deployment.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of native iOS development
- 1-5 years of experience working in software development
- Experience in any combination of the below skill set
- Objective-C, XCode, Cocoa
- iOS SDK
- Knowledge of GIT or SVN
- JSON, XML
- REST web service framework
- Push notification
- Integration with mobile analytic SDK (i.e. Google Analytics, KISSmetrics, etc)
- iOS Core Location Framework
- MVC
- Understands mobile performance, latency, and security issues
- Experience doing iOS SDK development in a commercial or professional environment. You must be hands-on and have experience publishing at least one consumer application to Apple App store.
- Good experience with UIKit, Networking and CoreGraphics.
- Comfortable with iOS performance (memory, speed, networking) and extensive experience using performance analysis tools
- In-depth knowledge of current technological trends, developments, and best practices in the area of information security, wireless network architecture, technologies, and concepts.
- Experience developing in an Agile environment
