Responsibilities
- Experience running and terminating Cat5/6 cables
- Assembly of server and network equipment cabinets
- Racking and mounting equipment (Server, network, video processing)
- Create, test, and install copper and fiber cabling
- Inventory and labeling of all equipment and cabling
- Other tasks as assigned
- Assisting with deployments of new network equipment (switches, routers, etc.).
- Front-line troubleshooting of network connectivity issues.
· Ensuring that communication rooms (MDF, IDF) and storage areas are kept organized and clean
Strong troubleshooting skills
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio.
- The ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
