The Asset Remarketing Expert plays a pivotal role in maximizing the value of surplus assets through strategic remarketing initiatives. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive remarketing strategies, leveraging market knowledge and industry expertise to optimize asset disposition outcomes. The Asset Remarketing Expert collaborates with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure efficient and profitable asset sales while mitigating risk and minimizing time-to-market.

• As an Asset Remarketing Expert, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing the value of surplus assets through strategic planning and execution. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Remarketing Strategy Development: Crafting and implementing strategic remarketing plans tailored to surplus assets, considering various factors like asset type, market demand, pricing trends, and disposal options. Identifying target markets and channels to optimize asset value while minimizing holding costs.
• Asset Valuation: Conducting comprehensive assessments of surplus assets to determine fair market value, utilizing appraisal techniques, market comparable, and evaluations of asset condition. Developing pricing recommendations to achieve target returns and optimize asset disposition outcomes.
• Market Research and Analysis: Monitoring market trends, industry dynamics, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks in asset remarketing. Analyzing market data and customer feedback to refine remarketing strategies and tactics.
• Remarketing Execution: Overseeing the execution of remarketing initiatives, including asset listing, marketing campaigns, negotiations, and sales transactions. Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient asset disposition while maximizing sale proceeds.
• Channel Management: Managing relationships with remarketing channels such as online marketplaces, auction houses, brokers, dealers, and direct buyers. Evaluating channel performance, negotiating terms, and optimizing channel mix to achieve remarketing objectives.
• Asset Marketing and Promotion: Developing marketing collateral and promotional materials to showcase surplus assets and attract potential buyers. Implementing targeted marketing campaigns across various channels to reach relevant audiences and drive asset sales.
• Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with asset remarketing, including market volatility, pricing fluctuations, legal compliance, and reputation risk. Implementing risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to safeguard asset value and ensure regulatory compliance.
•   Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to asset remarketing, such as sales volume, pricing realization, and customer satisfaction. Preparing regular reports and dashboards to communicate remarketing performance and insights to stakeholders.
•   Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluating and optimizing remarketing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability. Implementing best practices and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement in asset remarketing capabilities.

What will you bring to the team:

•    As a qualified Asset Remarketing Expert, you will bring the following skills and qualifications to the team:
•    Bachelors degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field, with an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Asset Manager) being advantageous.
•    Proven experience in asset remarketing, surplus asset management, or related roles, preferably in industries such as manufacturing, logistics, or finance.
• Strong knowledge of asset valuation techniques, market research methodologies, and remarketing best practices.
•   Excellent analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and performance tracking.
•    Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
•   Proficiency in remarketing tools, platforms, and technologies, such as online marketplaces, auction software, and CRM systems.
•  Familiarity with regulatory requirements, legal considerations, and industry standards related to asset remarketing and disposal.
•     Experience in international remarketing and familiarity with global market dynamics is advantageous.
•  Knowledge of asset categories such as machinery, equipment, vehicles, electronics, and real estate.
• Ability to adapt to changing market conditions, business priorities, and customer preferences to drive successful asset remarketing outcomes.
