Job Description:
  • Can work and create databases and program to track and manage information by using Microsoft office Access .
  • Assist the Database Coordinator in Islamabad in the design and development of standardized database systems for new projects;
  • Ensure reporting requirements are met via close coordination with the Database Coordinator;
  • Supervision of data entry for both Programme and AMEU data sets – notably attributing staff resources to different tasks;
  • Providing data receipts to Program and AMEU (making sure a copy is kept by Database Team) when hard copies are submitted;
  • Help Program Team in using standard activity names through project implementation
  • Responsible for final translation to standard names before reporting to the Database Coordinator
  • Responsible for collection of all activities data defined in the database reporting template from Program/Project Manager (given in the summary sheet of data collection format)
  • Responsible for the oversight all database activities in his or her base and managing database staff in the relevant bases;
  • Preparation of summary and detailed reports as per requests from Area Coordinators, Programme Teams and Database Coordinator;
  • Undertake monthly review meetings with Project Coordinators of project under way to ensure consistency of data/information between Program and Database;
  • Extraction of data from project-level databases on a monthly basis to send to Database Coordinator for uploaded to the centralized database;
  • Sending of Consolidated Weekly Data Entry Progress Report of base and Sub bases to Islamabad.
  • Participate in Project Kick-off Meetings to discuss the project data collection strategy, including documents used;
  • Ensure database backup is completed on a weekly basis to ensure data security;
  • Doing some data entry if necessary.
  • Any other related task assigned by Area Coordination.
