The Security Advisor is the primary source of information pertaining to security and will work with senior management and field offices to establish and implement an effective security system as well as train and support staff to ensure that security risks are minimized. This will include monitoring and constant assessment of security conditions, and making recommendations to the Country Director to ensure security for all ACTED staff.
The Security Advisor will work closely with national staff to raise their knowledge and awareness and ability to deal with security/Liaison issues. This will include but not be limited to establishing curfews where needed, money management policies and practice, dealing with checkpoints, transport policies, and planning for acts of violence.
Security Advisor is Peshawar based position but frequent visits to country office Islamabad.
