Essential Functions
· Create new web applications and enhance current product releases
· Identify scaling bottlenecks and propose solutions
· Improve the testability of our applications
· Research, test, benchmark and evaluate new technology
Experience
· 2+ years of experience with at least 1 year hands-on experience with Ruby or Ruby on Rails Development
· Experience with Front End Development
· Experience with JavaScript and AJAX heavy web application development
· Knowledge of front-end frameworks (angularJS, emberJS, knockoutJS, etc), preferred
· Experience with advanced CSS and responsive designs, a plus
· Comfortable developing for our software stack, which consists of Ruby/Ruby on Rails, MongoDB, Resque, Git, Rspec, Passenger & Nginx, Javascript, and bootstrap
· Experience with start-up companies or a start-up environment, a plus
Education
A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from FAST/LUMS/NUST/Equivalent Foreign Institution with high graduating CGPA
Skill Set
· Talented, entrepreneurial, and creative developer
· Committed desire to work in a fast-paced environment
· Must be able to think through and design end-to-end solutions at the application and infrastructure levels
