Advantage Software Development is looking for talented Front End Web Designers (no developers needed) to work on our Creative Team. Specifically, we are seeking people with advanced HTML/CSS experience and a serious appreciation for user interfaces and user experience in general. Requirements: - Expert level experience with HTML/CSS. Deep understanding of CSS inheritance and how to use it in real world scenarios. - Professional knowledge of JQuery and/or other JavaScript libraries. - Must have a strong portfolio. -Must be comfortable working with provided designs or designing new interfaces (with a strong appreciation for aesthetics). -Can flourish in an outside of the box' startup environment. -If asked if you were a designer or developer, you'd say both. -Must take pride in pixel-perfect precision. -Developer will be expected to follow strict standards. Able to work on multiple projects and work to deadlines. - Produce strictly cross browser compatible designs, interfaces, menus, etc. -2 years of proven experience working in a professional, team-oriented environment and/or experience working on commercial sites. -Provide at least 5 current web URLs with work you have done. -Strong attention to detail and quality assurance. -Enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced and dynamically changing environment. -Very good oral and written English communication skills. Responsibilities: -Work with the Creative team to convert designs from PSD/PNG to HTML/CSS. -Working with the team of creative software engineers to improve the existing software and develop new applications built around mobile communications and web. -Act as a source of knowledge and guidance for interns and junior team members.
