Position: Placement Officer

Reports to: Program Manager

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES  

To ensure placement of 100% of the Youth Skill Development Program graduates in Pakistan/Afghanistan with help of Employment Facilitation Desk (EFD)

  • To facilitate the placement of paramedics graduating through Youth Skill Development Program.
  • To conduct different trainings of graduate in order to ensure that they are equipped with necessary skills to empower them to get employment
  • To establish an employment facilitation desk for candidates at ARC office Islamabad and provide career counselling and placement of graduates.
  • To conduct mapping of health facilities and dispensaries in urban and rural areas/Refugee villages for placement of graduates of youth skill development program
  • To identify and liaise with potential employers among NGOs working in health sector, private hospitals, clinics, laboratories and private educational institutes for employability of the graduates.
  • To negotiate with potential employers for placement of graduates.
  • To facilitate in identifying areas for establishing Clinics/Health facilities in target populations and Refugee Villages

·         Experience of conducting HR trainings

·         Demonstrated ability to take initiatives

·         Reporting Skills

·         Multilingual. Fluency in Pushto and Persian languages essential.
