SQL Server Administrator / Developer

-2+ years working with Microsoft SQL Server with experience with SQL Server 2005 / 2008 R2;

-Database design (normalization, experience with VLDB);

-Experience working with .NET developers to develop tools and API for database access;

-2+ years of experiencing administrating MS SQL Servers in a production environment;

-Proven experience using T-SQL and query optimization;

-Backups, performance and transaction monitoring, performance tuning and recommendations;

-Partitioning, indexing, query optimization;

-SQL Server replication, mirroring/log shipping, DTS and SQL Server clusters;

-SSIS package implementation and design;

-Create and maintain database policies, standards and overall documentation;

-Test and document best practices, and conduct proactive performance, capacity and availability audits;

-Experience in developing stored procedures, functions, SSIS Packages, views, queries/tuning, cursors and database triggers.
