· Research relating to new developments across the affordable housing sector globally
· Research relating to effective Community Development
· Contribute towards designing an annual strategy for BD, related to which areas to target for housing developments and how to enhance sales related to those identified areas
· Land Scoping i.e. searching out and identifying viable land parcels for affordable housing developments in accordance with AMC BD strategy, including completing all forms and paperwork relating and pertaining to recording the potential of each land parcel (due to cultural sensitivities, male BDAs will mainly be required to deal with agent interactions and visits to relevant authorities including patwaries etc and required long distance travel in pursuit of Land Scoping)
· Undertake surveys relating to customer profiles, AMC products, new products, current housing conditions, housing shortages, cost of housing, type of housing/trends, lifestyle etc
· Conduct analysis of research results and sales
· Produce reports and presentations based on but not limited to research, land scoping, surveys, recommendations, sales etc
· Conduct tasks relating to pre-sales, devising methods, strategies and contacts to enhance sales before project is live
· Promote AMC and it’s vision and mission to any relevant contacts, making and building new contacts where necessary
· Design and innovate new ideas for contributing to and improving the lives and lifestyles of residents in our housing developments
· Target donations (financial, material or experiential) aimed at enhancing aspects of our resident’s lives both in the short term and on a long term/sustainable basis
Main Responsibilities
With guidance and direction from the HoBD, this person will be the lead on the project items listed below, ensuring that everything is coordinated efficiently and effectively. In pursuit of these tasks he will get support from other BDA’s as required. His responsibility lies in ensuring that project related work is produced on time and to the quality expected by the HoBD in relation to the following areas:

· Publicity for Safiya Homes (social media, website, photography, videos etc)
· Publicity for AMC (social media, website, photography, videos etc)
· Land Scoping i.e. searching out and identifying viable land parcels for affordable housing developments in accordance with AMC BD strategy, including completing all forms and paperwork relating and pertaining to recording the potential of each land parcel
Other Role & Tasks
He will be required to attend work on a daily basis in a timely manner and will be required to where appropriate attire representing the ‘face’ of AMC. He will be required to demonstrate a sense of social responsibility and actively agree with and pursue the vision and mission of AMC according to his designation level, conforming to the core values of AMC.
Character and Skill-set Description
The type of person required for such a role is someone with a passion for design who enjoys fieldwork, travelling and meeting new people. The person will have good knowledge of Photoshop, video editing, graphic design, photography and a strong grasp of how to use social media to its maximum effect. This is an interactive role which requires a significant amount of travelling (up to 60%), taking excellent photos and videos, and recording stories whilst having the ability to convert them into effective marketing and publicity materials.
