Web Designer and Web/PHP Developer Location: Karachi, Pakistan Timings: 6:30 pm to 3:30 am 5 working days Company: Arthur Lawrence Position(s): 2 Responsibilities - Work with project managers, business analysts, and customers to gain an understanding of the business,system, and design requirements.
- Work either independently or with team members to design, develop, test, implement,and maintain standards-compliant websites and web-based applications,applying best practices for user experience, usability, and accessibility.
- Selected individual will be able to handle projects in all phases, including level-of-effort estimates, information architecture, wire frames, design concepts,prototypes, coding, development, maintenance, change requests, and project status reports.
Skills/Experience Needed - Selected individual will possess superior creative talent, graphic design abilities, and typographic skills
- Experience in the design and development of websites and web applications
- Experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
- Experience designing for Drupal and SharePoint and working with CMS developers to implement design templates
- Experience with webdesign/development software such as Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and BBEdit
- Experience with using CSS for layout, especially responsive web design
- Ability to design complex forms utilizing best practices for user interface design so that they are intuitive to use
- Ability to design for cross browser/platform compatibility
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work within a collaborative team environment
