We are looking for experienced CodeIgniter and/or Dot Net / Java developers with strong programming. The role involves the full life cycle agile development of sophisticated web applications. The person should be able to understand the business needs of the client and should be able to suggest different solutions accordingly.
Candidate must have excellent understanding of OOP concepts, web 2.0 concepts, and around 3 years of web development experience.
Experience working with common website design & development technologies including:
- Experience with CodeIgniter.
- XHTML/HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery (Core & UI), AJAX, XML, JSON
- Web 2.0 standards, and DIV based layouts
- PHP, Ruby, Python, ASP.NET C#
- Good knowledge on integrations with Facebook, Twitter, and payment gateways
Other Expertise:
- Well commented code along with unit tests
- Strong OOP & database concepts including MySQL and MSSQL
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Good aesthetic sense for making UI changes
- Be a high performance individual who works well in a team and on their own as well
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of CodeIgniter, RoR, or Django is required
- Experience with cache systems & NoSQL DBs like Memcache, Redis, MongoDB is highly preferred
- Experience of mobile application development will be highly preferred
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Discuss client requirements and solutions with the Project Manager (PM)
Implement the agreed upon solutions using:
- Well commented code
- Unit-tests
- High performance algorithms & techniques
Continue the process of self-learning new technologies in available time.
