Smooth and efficient functioning of all academic and administrative functions of the Branch;

Exercise and administer control of the respective Branch

Implementation of APSS Policies, Rules, Staff JDsand orders of the Executive Council;

Implementation of school planningand maintenance of record;

Ensuring adherence to the Code of Conduct by him/herself and all the subordinate Staff;

Keep EC APSS informed about all thecritical issues of the Branch;

Supervise instructional work in classrooms vigilantly and effectively;

Guide teachers on teaching methodology and ensure a high standard of instruction.

Ensure teachers’ punctuality and availability in classes.

Maintain up-to-date information about students’ strength, teachers’ nominal roll, syllabi-progress and examination/monthly test results.

Coordinate with In-charge Progress Section for the conduct of monthly tests and examinations;

Arrange regular Staff meeting to generate good team work;

Teach 6-12 periods per week;

Raise Annual Evaluation Reports of the Staff members;

(Perform any other duties assigned by the Principal.

Skills

Good communication skills, amiable personality, computer literate, experience of working of a Branch Head in Beacon House, City, Roots, Convent, Frobels, Little Angels
