Establish an effective Control Environment in the finance department.
Liaison with other departments of the Company to ensure smooth operation of Company operations.
Liaison with external bodies/regulatory authorities to respond to their questions and to ensure maximum benefit to the Company.
Ensure timely preparation of periodic management accounts of the Company and the periodic financial statements.
Liaison with external auditors for timely execution of audit/review.
Prepare the yearly budget of the Company and ensure follow up on the same identifying serious variances.
Providing valuable input for improving the Control environment and processes in the Company.
Ensure the efficient and effective utilization of resources in the finance department.
Familiarity with Insurance Ordinance and Insurance Regulations.
Familiarity with Income Tax Ordinance and related rules and regulations.
Familiarity with all other laws and regulations applicable to the Company.
Ability to present information in a convincing way to the Senior management of the company.
Ability to communicate strongly with other parties both verbally and in writing.
Understanding of financial products/Stock Market and overall Micro and Macro Economic factors.
