Innovation is what we thrive upon and are looking to add another Backend Developer to work along our VP Product and Senior Developers based in Toronto and across the globe. Selected Senior Laravel Developer will work in Pakistan and will be offered the opportunity to move to Dubai office based on the performance and contributions.

Your position as PHP Developer will require you to work simultaneously on multiple fronts. As the company grows rapidly, there is a pressing need for new proprietary systems. Your primary aim will be to take ideas and concepts that will help make daily tasks smoother and bring them to life.
Key responsibilities:
- Review project requirements. Provide feedback on coding standards, accessibility and other technical standards.
- Assist in maintaining existing code, including bug fixes, enhancements, and miscellaneous maintenance.
- Ensuring that code runs efficiently and help build a world-class product.
- Demonstrate clear progress and a willingness to advance further in the company hierarchy.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- 6+ years’ experience in PHP Development. We’re only looking for candidates with deep understanding and 2+ years of working experience with Laravel or Symfony framework.
- Please DO NOT apply for this position if majority of your past experience is in Wordpress, Joomla, Opencart or similar open source tools.
- Knowledgeable on React.js/Angular.js front-end frameworks or Node.js on the backend (preferred but NOT required).
- Solid understanding of platform/network/database platoforms (AWS, MongoDB, etc) and security procedures.
- MySQL database expertise, database design skills, complex SQL query, views and store procedure experience.
- Hands on knowledge of JSON/REST/XML/SOAP Web Services.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment using tools like issue trackers (Bitbucket) and version control software (Git)
Candidates with good written/verbal English communication skill will be preferred.
