|
He will be responsible for independently looking after Warehousing function. Job Description: - Supervise planning and designing of warehouse, in coordination with Warehouse In-charge to cater for efficient space utilization, provision of light, air, fire exits, etc.
- Maintain stock and also responsible to maintain traceability at all times.
- Ensure the safe custody of company's property i.e. stocks, machine etc.
- Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
- To develop better communication and understanding with other departments as well.
- Keeping stock control system up to date and planning future capacity requirements.
- Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and their timely report to Senior Management.
- Timely brief and update seniors on issues which may cause any problem.
- Ensure health, safety, cleanliness and security of the stock as well as staff.
- Responsible for daily closing and opening of warehouses at stipulated times and ensure smooth operation.
- In routine cycle take physical stock of warehouse to ensure updated position. Check all relevant documents to ensure proper stock taking.
