Public health engineers often have the following daily tasks:
- Designing overall schemes related to water filtration system and associated structure.
- Working closely with the engineering and technical department, as well as the client, to analyse project requirements and produce comprehensive & technical specification documentation.
- Manage the end to end installation and site support of our specialized Water Treatment products.
- Be responsible for providing water treatment & management equipment training.
- Ongoing product development initiatives.
- Supervising the operation and maintenance of water filtration systems.
- Preparing tender documents as a basis for construction
- Reviewing technical submissions;
- keeping up to date with water environmental matters, and being aware of policy and developments in this area;
- presenting technical data or project results to both technical and non-technical clients and colleagues;
- monitoring the progress of projects from beginning to end - from the feasibility stage, to design through to construction and handover - or supervising one section of a large project;
- Must develop and maintain professional relationships that lead to secure repeat business.
- Provide assistance for problem facilities and private industry
- Address the public about public health concerns and regulations
- Review lab reports and communicate analysis effectively
Desired Skills and Experience:
- To be successful in this role, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or equivalent and proven experience in a similar position, ideally from within related industries.
- Experience not less than 8 years in relevant field.
- Job Requires Excessive Travelling througout Punjab
- Exposure to and expertise in a wide range of water treatment technologies and processes.
- Experience in design and/or specification of water treatment systems, ideally with site based or portable water treatment systems.
- Commercial acumen to ensure project profitability and acceptable asset life cycle returns.
- Hands-on troubleshooting ability in the field.
- Demonstrate a safety first attitude.
- Strong responsibility, self-motivated, able to work under high pressure
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- An array of skills including troubleshooting, written and oral communication, and attention to detail are required
- Able to see the “bigger picture” and take a birds-eye view on projects
- Knowledge of construction ground dewatering processes/ methods, and experience with groundwater modelling (desired but not essential)
