Responsibilities:
1. Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Make employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
2. Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.
3. Manage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provide regular progress reports to managers.
4. Coach and counsel employees; document/discuss performance reviews on a timely basis.
5. Perform accident investigations.
6. Maintain proper inventory levels.
7. Manage department priorities.
8. Track absenteeism and timekeeping.
9. Responsible for all other duties as assigned.
