A System Engineer responsible for supporting equipment in a Microsoft Windows, Linux and Cisco environment.
Provides installation, configuration, diagnostic/testing, upgrading and repair/resolution of systems, hardware, software and infrastructure.
Independently manage team of Desktop support engineers.
Ability to work on multiple locations with multiple projects.
Experience in remote monitoring of server performance and remote client support
Desktop/server planning, network operating system and evaluations/recommendations ability to work on assignments that are complex in nature and where considerable judgment and initiative are required in implementation and problem resolution.
Troubleshoot and resolve computer and PABX related issues when contacted by clients by providing on-site, remote and telephony support.
Maintaining software applications and operating systems.
Managing assigned projects to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, and etc to provide technical assistance and support.
Supervising the administration of systems and servers related network to ensure availability of services to authorized users.
Configuring and monitoring the logs of Cisco router switches, and HP Servers.
Implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
Documentation of IT BCP Business Continuity Planning
Strong in ITIL implementation and management.
Skills: Working knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, SMTP, POP3 , IMAP, DNS, TFTP
Note : Candidate must possess two of the following certificates:
MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, ITIL
