Job Purpose :

Execute the production plan of as per daily/monthly/yearly budget and market requirement with the compliance of quality standards. Evaluate, develop and implement agreed cost reduction and wastage control activities and eliminate non-value added processes. Ensure Up Keep/ Modification and repair of Production Facilities under supervision, compliance of 5S Housekeeping concept standards, and documentation as per ISO and ERP systems.


Principal Accountabilities / Key Result Areas:

1. BUDGETING:

Prepare financial budget proposal of shops under supervision for each fiscal year considering additions/replacements requirements. Ensure Budget accuracy of the area under supervision.

2. PRODUCTION:

a) Ensure smooth production operation to meet the targeted daily/monthly/yearly production by following PPC production plan.

b) Cost reduction by minimizing process rejections, overtime, consumables, tool consumptions and utilities usage.

3. QUALITY

Monitor/Control and improve quality of the shops under supervision. Check and monitor through successful implementation of quality standards, bring improvement in straight pass and reduce rejections and rework.

4. WASTAGE

Closely monitor the shops processes to eliminate the material wastages and control process wastages.

5. MAINTENANCE OF MACHINES:

Cleaning/up-keeping of equipment & machinery at the production area under supervision. Constant follow up for maintenance of machines and repair without hindering production process. Arrange preventive maintenance as per agreed schedule.

6. EMPLOYEE TRAINING:

Developing and planning on job training. Rotate workers at different locations of works, for perfection in work for smooth production process in case of absentee.

7: SHOP CULTURE:

a) Developing competitive and innovative work environment / shop culture through proper implementation of 5S, manufacturing standards and data recording through ERP.

b) Timely resource health & safety tools/equipment and develop measure for implementation to ensure proper utilization of safety tools to keep safe & clean working environment.
