Job Description

We are a new and exciting start-up based in Islamabad. Our online platform aims to revolutionize the construction industry in Pakistan. We are looking for highly motivated core team members to join us on an exciting journey.  

We are looking for an office manager with awesome technical skills alongside an entrepreneurial drive to getting things done. The ideal candidate will be a multi-tasking wizard with strong technical skills of MS softwares. The candidate needs to collaborate with building material suppliers/vendors, understand their particular needs and manage relationships, take charge of customer relations and talk to material buyers, understand their needs and assist them in procurement of building materials. He will be responsible for setting up meetings with vendors, meeting them and converting them into potential site members and then assisting them in managing their online shops. He will be fluent in Wordpress and similar CMS platforms and should be a very smooth communicator. He should have excellent English skills, both written and spoken. As a front facing member of the platform, he needs to be impeccably dressed and presentable at all times.  He must have a good understanding of accounting and managing accounts within the company. The ideal candidate should have a driver’s license and own transportation (ideally a bike or a car) to make sure he is mobile and every ready for any eventuality.

Your regular day will look like this: client meetings, vendor phone calls, uploading and managing information on Wordpress, managing payments, invoicing and following up with buyers/sellers, business development and buyer/seller relationship management via phone calls or one-to-one meetings.

In other words, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the Welfare of the start-up, not just management. That is why we want to give the title of “Welfare Officer” to the chosen candidate.
