• He will be contributing to the installation, configuration and database design for all the environments including development, QA, UAT and production.

  • DBA will also develop the database standards in collaboration with the development team. He will also make recommendation in designing the data access layer.

  • He will be suggesting the techniques to be taken into consideration while development so that the optimal application performance can be achieved.

  • DBA will also be performing the troubleshooting if any database related issue is faced. He will be running database monitoring and profiling tools so that proper diagnosis can be done in case of any performance issues. DBA will also proposing a solution for the disaster recovery. He will also ensure that the design is scalable.

Skills

He must have hands on experience of working on SQL Server
He must be familiar with the database designing and profiling tools.
Solid understanding of agile development methodology
Should be familiar with TFS
Experience of working on banking applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
