Job Description:

Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice. Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.

Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

1.Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions.Provide advice and assistance to staff and management on pay and benefits systems. Assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures.

1.Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Secures financial information by completing data base backups.Explain employment standards and legislation such as workers compensation, labour standards.

1.Documents financial transactions by entering account information. Establish tables of accounts, and assign entries to proper accounts. Prepare monthly sales reports into excel spread sheet as well as in QuickBooks (Accounting Software) for analysis. Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements. Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations. Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents. Accomplishes the result by performing the duty. Report to management regarding the finances of establishment.Recruiting staff - this includes developing job descriptions and person specifications, preparing job adverts, checking application forms, shortlisting, interviewing and selecting candidates.Provide advice and assistance to supervisors on staff recruitment and Monitor daily attendance.
