Responsibilities:
· Monitoring the performance and progress of warehouse staff
· Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met in the timeline given
· Communicating with other departments
· Overseeing stock control and processing orders
· Ensuring quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met
· Fulfilling objectives and directions from the operation's head-office
· Coordinating the use of computerized systems
· Responding to and dealing with internal team and third parties communication by email, fax and telephone
· Keeping stock control systems up to date
· Planning future capacity requirements
· Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
· Briefing team leaders on a daily basis
· Constantly plan out all warehouse resources and activities in relation to company objectives and set targets
· Keeping regular check to monitor the quality of service they are receiving
· Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment
· Overseeing the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment
· Keeping control of warehouse security
· Keeping proper records of inventory and other material stored at warehouse
