1. To be responsible for efficient management of fleet and drivers;
2. To prepare duty rosters of drivers;
3. To take driving tests of drivers at the time of hiring anf from time to time to ensure all drivers are fit to drive;
4. To maintain and check log books kept in each vehicle and ensure that vehicles mileage is within prescribed limit/route;
5. To be responsible for fuelling/re-fuelling of vehicles;
6. To work out average fuel consumption of each vehicle and monitor fuel consumption accordingly and report same to DM Supply Chain and Procurement;
7. To keep track of all vehicles while these are enroute for supplies and report any untoward incident to DM SC&P;
8. To be responsible for obtaining route permits of vehicles, road worthiness certificates and other necessary documents required for commercial vehicles as per law;
9. To be responsible for up to date registrations of all vehicles as per law;
10. To ensure that all vehicles are road worthy
11. To perform any other duty assigned by DM SC&P
