Operations Officer

This position is responsible for:

·Export Shipments Planning and Negotiation with Freight Forwarders / Air & Shipping Lines to get the best services and rates.

·Pre-Shipment Documentation including insurance matters, customs clearance and right organization of the stocks.

·Post-Shipment Documentation (for banks and ultimate consignee) as per L/c and customer requirements.

·Complete follow-up of the shipments till arrival at destination with satisfactory customs clearance in importing country.

·Issuance of Promotional Materials from FGW while ensuring proper packaging as per importer’s and customs clearance requirements.

·Keeping monthly item-wise and country-wise dispatch record of the promotional material.

·Forecasting & Monthly Reviews of the Export Orders.

Essential Requirements:

To qualify as an Operations Officer – IM&S, the following requirements must be satisfied:

1.Graduation (Science, Commerce or Business Administration) or equivalent.

2.Minimum 2-3 years experience in export documentation.

3.Sound knowledge of Banking & Customs Procedures for Export Shipments.
