Job Description:

Project Planning & Content Development

·Assist in content development and editing ( e.g., lesson planning, program materials)

·Conduct ongoing research of model programs and projects in related areas

Project Management

·Coordinate and monitor program planning and activities for the Compassionate School Initiatives, including implementation of trainings, workshops and conferences, site visitations, technical assistance and regular correspondence to the programs.

·Assist staff in recording and collecting program data

·Maintain budgets and tracking of strategic plans, work plans timelines as per project requirements.

Liaison

·Develop and maintain contacts with appropriate Educational Government offices, Educational systems, and schools.

·Participate in presentations on initiatives at various events and meetings.

·Participate in CfC staff and team meetings and in special meetings and/or task force meetings.

Data Collection/Evaluation

·Assist Executive Officer and other relevant staff in developing appropriate evaluation methods and data collection

·Oversee Collection and processing of data

·Complete summary reports of compiled data

Information Processing

·Review and distribute regulation directives and other information pertinent to project operations

·Provide weekly project status reports to the Executive Officer

·Prepare and/or monitor the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports on project activities

·Prepare information for news releases and develop and create resource materials including manuals, publications, pamphlets and videos for use by programs.

·Maintain regular contact with schools through correspondence, telephone conversations and site visits.

·Conduct regular team meetings to facilitate communication and project implementation.

OTHER MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

·Bachelors/ Master's Degree in Education or related field preferred and/ or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience working with schools and/or other youth service organizations

 
Skills Required:
 
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Excellent written and oral communication skills (English/Urdu)
Knowledge and experience working with education, health, and/or public welfare systems and programs
Knowledge and experience in program planning, development, supervision and management
Direct supervisory experience
Previous experience as a school administrator, classroom teacher, trainer
Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and clients both internal and external
Excellent research skills
Basic (PC) computer skills
Public speaking and presenting experience
