Overview:
China Xinjiang Beixin Road & Bridge Group Co. Ltd. referred to as “Beixin Road & Bridge”) was founded on Aug. 7, 2001 with a registered capital of RMB 214.3566 million Yuan and it is a listed company whose principal business focuses on road and bridge construction, the stocks of which are held by the Construction Engineering (Group) Co., Ltd. of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
China Xinjiang Beixin Road & Bridge Group is seeking to employ project manager - Civil, with heavy civil engineering experience, for one of its on-going projects in Pakistan
Qualification:
· The Project Manager- (Civil) should have minimum 8 to 20 years of experience in similar role, managing projects of different sizes.
· Experience of liaising with local authorities, Clients & Consultantsfor roads, bridges and building permits and execution of contracts.
· Civil Engineering degree from a reputed and PEC recognized university or PEC registered professional institute.
· PMP Certification, Experience with Chinese company &2 mega project’s experience is an extra advantage.
The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for projects involving civil and associated works for infrastructure development or maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead diverse project team and ensure that project meets specifications, quality standardsand budget and schedule requirements.
· Enabling the implementation of infrastructure development from conceptual design through to completion and handover to end user
· Management and execution of contracts liaising with local authorities for building permits and services provision
· Carry out detailed Project Risk Assessments and identify and implement required control measures
· Ensure that companies safety, quality and environmental policies are implemented and applied at all stages of project especially during design stage and targets are achieved while executing projects
· Responsible to coordinate and feedback on personnel competency, assessment and performance during project
· Conduct full product delivery QC & QA in conjunction with the project team and Operations Manager
· Responsible for all civil engineering works, appointment of external consultants and contractors; approval of design, details drawings, specifications and bill of quantities
Issue tenders reports, provide clarifications, review tenders, appoint contractors as per
Procedures, issue payment certificates, follow up on Warranty issues if any
· Responsible for determining priorities after discussion with end users and management and manage different projects accordingly keeping bigger picture in mind
· Perform other job related duties as assigned by section head
