Telecom Operations Manager at Circles.Life will lead all areas related to telecom engineering, in particular, critical components such as the real-time billing engine that includes SCP, OCS & PCRF and our BSS stack. The job requires leadership skills to be able to manage a diverse group of Engineers. Telecom Operations Manager will work independently and as part of a talented team to lead complex problem solving amidst challenging schedules. He/she will work closely with various stakeholders, including our vendors and other partners, in order to orchestrate timely roll-outs and manage ongoing network operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide project management leadership on multiple projects involving complex technology stacks, multiple vendors, and challenging timelines
  • Lead network operations and be ready to handle escalations 24/7
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for real-time billing solutions (OCS, PCRF, BSS)
  • Develop and maintain partner relationships with peers
  • Engage with our vendors and follow-up to solve problems within agreed SLAs
  • Provide expert level knowledge with respect to quality initiatives and business process improvement
  • Prepare and implement SOPs Requirements
  • Tier-1 university degree in an engineering discipline such as Computer, Electrical or Electronics, Telecommunications, Software etc.
  • At least 6-7 years of relevant experience in telecom including a significant part in a project management role delivering complex projects or overseeing operations
  • Certifications such as PMP, ITIL preferable
  • Vendor experience a plus
  • Strong knowledge of DIAMETER, CAP, SOAP, SNMP, SMPP, MAP and SIGTRAN
  • Understanding of PS & CS Core Network and Intelligent Networks
  • OCS, PCRF/PCEF,SCP, GGSN, MSC, HLR, DPI, SDP, SMSC
  • Advance knowledge of the following domains
    • BSS: Real-time and converged solutions, Billing systems, Campaignmanagement, CRM, Mediation
    • OSS: Fulfilment, Assurance, Customer Experience Management, Enterprise Application Integration
    • IP networks (design and management)
    • Middleware technologies
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills
  • Exceptional people management skills
