For the first time in Pakistan, young entrepreneurs have joined forces with Pakistan's premier intellectuals, educationists and academics to bring to the country a brand new schooling experience, the Stellar School System, which features activity and technology based learning, an interactive and integrated curriculum, in-house teacher training programs, and no admission fee combined with affordable tuition fees.
The Stellar School System is a venture aimed at developing in children their innate talents, a humane sensibility, critical thinking and nurturing of the creative spirit. The world is standing at a crucial and decisive juncture in its history. It is time now to invest in the future by providing high quality education and instilling progressive values and norms in young people. This will enable them to become productive and responsible citizens of the world. The Stellar School System plans to actualize this vision by establishing a chain of schools across Pakistan and abroad.
The Stellar School System will nurture the creative potential of students by replacing the current method of rote learning with activity based learning from playgroup to the senior level. This will be achieved by having an integrated and interactive curriculum which has been designed exclusively for us by leading experts in the field. The curriculum has been created and will be regularly reviewed by a curriculum advisory board whose members include some of Pakistan's eminent educationists.
The teaching methods would combine class room teaching, activity based learning within the class and outside, group projects, accessing the internet, and multimedia sessions to expose the students to the finest audio-visual educational products on science, culture, history and the environment. Emphasis will also be placed on co-curricular activities to facilitate learning outside the classroom and to enable the students to form an all-round perspective.
We feel it is imperative to ensure teacher tenure stability to generate creative synergy, to mobilize their inner strengths, to develop their professional capabilities and provide continuity to children education.
The Stellar School System will have in-house teacher training programs for its teachers. These programs will be conducted by Pakistan's most distinguished professors, offering the teachers a chance to become a unique center of innovative thought.
