About Pre-STEP
The Pre-Service Teacher Education Program (Pre-STEP) is a USAID funded initiative collaborating with the Ministry of Education and the Higher Education Commission to strengthen pre-service training of the teaches and implement policy actions in the 2009 National Education Policy to meet the need for more and better teachers in Pakistan. Pre-STEP strives to improve the qualifications and status of teachers.
