Centre of excellence for Rural Development (CERD), was established as company under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 with the approval of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan on 25 May, 2007. It has a Board of Directors for policy formulation and a Management headed by a Chief Executive.rnCERD has demonstrated potential of working under selected thematic areas of both relief and development. We have a proven specialty of working in the fields of livelihoods, policy, advocacy and research, poverty analysis, water conservation, protection, community services, primary and maternal health care, food security, Community Based Acute Mal Nutrition.rnWe enjoy a privileged reputation with Government line agencies. Senior Program staff of CERD has an experience of utilizing USD 8.1 millions on different projects of emergency and development nature. We partner with donors like UNHCR, UNICEF, WFP, WHO, UNDP, ILO, NCA, Rotary Club, GIZ (DPMP) PAIMAN (USAID), German Embassy and ASF.
