Shirazi Investments (Private) Limited (SIL), the parent Company of the Atlas Group was established in 1962. For over four decades, the company has been engaged in equity trading, underwriting, real estate and general trading. The Company played a key role in sponsoring and acquisition of many Group companies. Until 1978 when management agencies were abolished in Pakistan, the Company also acted as Managing Agents for all Atlas Group companies. Besides its important role as holder of Atlas Group Company equity and as such hold directorships in several Atlas Group companies, Shirazi Investments is, as such, also involved in advising on Group policies as the representative of the principal Shareholders
