Candidate must have the following attributes:
- To be resourceful and creative in solving problems.
- Follow coding standards and best practices
- Minimum of 2 years experience on PHP with strong Object Oriented programming skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience with Wordpress & Woo Commerce using hooks, actions and
- filters.
- Linux skills preferred (command line, scripting, administration)
- Experience using MySQL
- NoSQL experience would be a plus
- Working knowledge of backup, databases and file systems
- Knowledge/experience with Agile software methodology
- Experience working with a production environment with zero or very minimal downtime
- An understanding of design and schematic patterns
- Knowledge of version control with GIT preferred.
- Web Services (e.g. JSON, RPC, REST, XML, SOAP, etc.)
- Bug tracking software (e.g. JIRA, FogBugz, etc.)
- PHP Frameworks (e.g. CodeIgniter, Symfony, Zend, Laravel, etc.)
