MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:   

Enhance our Social License to Lead

  •  Shape an enabling PolicyØ & Regulatory Environment, and Improve our Reputation towards Farmer-friendly Food & Agriculture Policy, Timely Regulatory Approvals, to Create Shared Value, and Promote & Protect Innovation & Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
  • Improve our Brand AwarenessØ & Reputation by building & implementing insightful consumer-focused  campaigns & engage in dialogue &partnerships with stakeholders to advocate for food, ag, farmers. 
  • Sustainability & CSR Partnerships – Build & leverage 1 Sustainability & 1 CSR Partnership to create Value in Food & Ag Ecosystem; drive Excellence in Partner Engagement, Implementation & Leverage
  • Engage in dialogue with new food & environmental audiences at new venues on food & sustainability 
  • Govt. & Policy –Promote & Defend enabling Policy Environment & Regulatory System for Freedom to Operate our Business; and engage & leverage Food,Ag, Environment AgVocates for Food & Ag Policy. Drive Farmer-focused Food, Ag & Environment Policies, advancing IPR and Creating Shared Value (CSV) Relationships - Build relationships with Key Ministries at federal and provincial levels related to Food, Ag, Environment; own & leverage key Stakeholder. Relationships with Food, Farm & Environment AgVocates Advocacy – Lead Stakeholder Engagement Campaigns & support. Communication of Ag Industry Associations.
  • Industry Association and Agency Partner Engagement- Drive best-in- class Industry Association Profile Building, Capability & Advocacy Create best-in- class Communications Agency Partner Engagement; enhance Agency Team Capability; co-develop & implement Strategy & Plans with Agency Partners.
  • Issues Management- Proactively pre-empt & provide Leadership on Issue Management – Counsel & implementation of Plans – to Protect our Vision, Business, Products, & People
  • Maintain relationships & networks (external & internal – across the business, region & global colleagues, and third-parties), awareness of internal and external challenges to anticipate, prevent & mitigate issues 

 JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Experience Strategic communications, multi-stakeholder & media engagement, sustainability & corporate marketing in complex commercial, socio-political environments. 

· Education Masters/Post Graduate Marketing / Communications / Public Affairs / Policy.
