|
Job Purpose: The ideal incumbent would be responsible for managing all activities related to Production Management for multiple production lines. The ideal candidate will be currently working in a large manufacturing concern in a leadership role and would have prior exposure of working in multiple functions. Responsibilities:
- Setting the production & quality targets monthly and daily wise in consultation with the Factory Manager.
- Controlling the process to meet quality,environmental and production parameters & specifications.
- Ensuring quality and quantity of products with adequate planning.
- Responsible for productivity enhancement & meeting productivity targets
- Ensuring the implementation of Health,Safety & Environmental and Quality Assurance Procedures and Manufacturing Process Control Procedures at the factory premises.
- Responsible for optimization of cost of production.
- Setup Quality, Environmental & Safety objectives within department.
- Maximizing the availability of manufacturing machinery &Equipment through timely maintenance support.
- Ensuring analysis based problem solving through Oracle.
- Implementing Lean Manufacturings best practices.
- Monitoring & Controlling overtime in manufacturing.
- Guiding & suggesting the management for enhancing of plant capacities and improving productivity.
- Monitoring & ensuring the safety aspects of manufacturing activities at shop floor & in overall factory premises.
- Guardian of 7-S program in the factory.
- Responsible for reducing internal and external failures.
- Coordinating with Insurance Companies in Safety Surveys.
- Active& value added participation in forum/ meetings including daily morning meeting, weekly Obheya meetings & monthly manufacturing.
