Job Description:

Job Purpose:- Responsible for overall execution of components design and development. The ideal candidate will be a Mechanical Engineer with exposure to component or product development for a large scale manufacturing concern.

Job Responsibilities:-
  • Responsible for planning, designing and development of parts & components for consumer durables.
  • Conduct tests for compliance against various engineering & quality standards.
  • Responsible for preparing, checking and verifying engineering documents such as drawings, BOM, components specification deviation permits and engineering change notices, etc.
  • Responsible for designing, checking & verifying the manufacturing processes and monitoring progress at different stages of development.
  • Able to guide manufacturers on establishing right process and get right quality at low cost.
  • End to end management of local & international outsourcing of parts.

Skills Required:
 
~Exposure to stamping, injection molding, rubber technology and other part manufacturing processes.
~Clear concepts on die and mold designing and manufacturing.
~Aware of Lean Manufacturing methods.
~Knowledge of VE & VA activities.
~Technical knowledge of electronic circuitry evaluation, HVAC and Heat Absorption cycle will be an added advantage.
~Commitment to quality.
~Problem analysis and solution approach.
~Leadership skills.
~Working within the system and SOPs.
