Job Description:

Main Purpose of the job:

This position is required to execute all functions related to internal audit, risk mitigation & management and compliance with best practices of corporate governance for DH Corp and its wholly owned subsidiary DH Fertilizer Ltd. This position is expected to add value by acting as a facilitator between external auditor and company’s management in the smooth conduct of external and internal audit assignments thereby assisting the Company in its efforts for improving its policies & procedures and governance structure. Manager Internal Audit shall also act as secretary to the DH Corp Board Audit Committee.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and carry outinternal audit function in the organization.
  • Review financial statements,company policies and procedures, implement best practices of corporategovernance, risk mitigation and management etc.
  • Ensure compliance with theapproved annual audit plan by coordinating the activities and functions ofthe internal auditors, determining the day to day priorities andcoordinating with the line managers
  • Monitor the post-audit implementationof the recommendations and appraise the adequacy of the corrective actionsundertaken
  • Facilitate the line managers inimproving systems and procedures and implementing the best practices ofcorporate governance in their respective areas of work
  • Review the significant adjustments resulting from external/internal audits.
