KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
General Requirements
1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ ITI Draughtsman-(mechanical)
2. Proficient in AutoCAD and Solid Works.
3. Good knowledge of Coral Draw will be an added advantage.
4. Sound knowledge of engineering design principles (mandatory for DME)
5. Knowledge of using measuring instruments like vernier caliper and micrometer.
6. Good knowledge of fits and tolerances.
7. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a machine design department of an engineering company manufacturing machines/equipment.
8. Knowledge of design documentation as per ISO 9001:2000 procedure will be an added advantage.
9. Design using a computer (CAD) SolidWorks ProEngineer or others: model of assemblies, parts modelling and build drawings.
10. Availability working documentation in accordance with: ISO 9001 2008, applicable Military standards and ISO 9001 automotive industry standards.
11. Availability working: Product Specification, Design/ Drawings, BOM and others Technical Documentation,
12. Knowledge in machining and manufacturing, heat treatment, surface protection classical and control equipment.
13. Availability working: work instruction-technology assemblies, indivisible welding joints, parts, heat treatment and surface protection; preparation of specifications and drawings for the tools and equipment necessary for the production process; build operating instructions and internal standards; determination standard production time.
14. Basic knowledge about Production Planning & Control: Planning and scheduling production process, Analyzing BOM, Planning and scheduling of engineering design interfaces, materials and resources planning business by computers (ERP / MRP)
