| Job Description: |
|
- Supervise and monitor all functional & technical activities taking place at all project sites/ Head Office related to stores.
- Ensure that material is properly received, inspected, stored and issued as per the requirement keeping in view Company laid down procedures.
- Optimum utilization of material by mobilizing it from one project site to another project site (Within BA) if in surplus.
- Monitor sizeable inventory maintenance, loss prevention items, E&P parts, and control their inventory levels.
- Ensure that all items in the inventory are safe and in useable condition and make sure that no unserviceable items has been received and recorded on the book.
- Ensure that proper status of inventory at all project sites is maintained by coordinating with BA I/C Stores, and corrective measures are taken to eliminate the causes of stock discrepancies.
- Monitor material & inventory levels at different project sites in such a way that minimum funds are blocked and requirement of material & items at project sites are met.
- Monitor maintenance of FAMS database/records at various project sites (belong to BAs) for new fixed assets receiving, transfer-in and transfer-out.
- Make sure (through I/C Stores of different BAs) that status of fixed assets at different project sites is timely and duly updated in FAMS
- Monitor the written-off process of assets which are beyond economical repair (BER) by following proper procedure of “Assets Disposal” as laid down in relevant SOP & policy.
- Arrange timely disposal of surplus/waste materials and scrap located at various Project Sites of all BAs.
- Ensure that all stores activities are managed economically & in a cost effective manner.
- Ensure the effective achievement of departmental objectives of stores and compliance of stores SOP’s/MS through the leadership roles– setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and the performance of the section.
- Recommend improvements to departmental policy and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of stores activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to stake holders.
- Accountable to create a safe working environment, manage risks, reduce exposure to hazardous liability and ensure implementation of QHSE policy
- Comply with all QA/QC standards (DIMS documents) as applicable to the company systems, policies, procedures, and documents in order to deliver the expected quality of work.
