|
Job Summary: The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for monitoring the implementation projects within a specific district. He/she will also be responsible to ensure program is implemented in line with policies, donor regulations and best practices thus achieving the program goals and objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Under the guidance of the M&E Manager, work with the program team to collect store, manage and disseminate data and prepare and complete monthly monitoring forms on- time and accurately
- Development/ improvement of the data/information management tools including reporting formats and database for overall assessment of the respective sectors
- Collect case studies and stories
- Assist in preparing periodical program updates/reports
- Carry out regular onsite monitoring of projects as directed by M&E Manager, District Managers and Technical Coordinators and provide on spot necessary guidance;
- Maintain & monitor financial records and ensure DIL policies.
- Keep track of all projects to ensure timely completion
- Maintain proper filing system of monitoring and data related documents.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Good interpersonal and communication skills,
- Ability to keep track of multiple, multi-sector projects
- Good written and spoken English language skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent data collection and knowledge on M&E tools.
- Knowledge on log-frame analysis.
