We require a freelance (on hourly rate) Senior Developer proficient in Ruby On Rails (Stack). This is a work from home position for an overseas company.
All work is for international clients.
Job Responsibilities
Work independently on projects based on instruction provided:
- Assist in determining time and cost estimates for assigned projects.
- Develop new applications or make enhancements according to project needs.
- Plan, coordinate and execute project activities to ensure timely completion.
- Ensure project deliverables to meet business requirements.
- Perform code reviews.
- Resolve application development issues.
Qualification and requirements
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science
- Atleast 5 years of working experience exclusively in RoR
- Should have strong knowledge of OOP
- Should have good understanding of database management system
- Should be able to show a portfolio of websites in RoR
Soft Skills
- Independent and geared towards client satisfaction
- Good written and Spoken English.
- Experience with international companies would be an asset
- Commitment to timelines without compromising quality
- The person should have strong communication skills and should be able to understand projects and ask intelligent questions to obtain complete understanding of project.
