| Job Description: |
|
- Source bulk Edible oils from Malaysia/Indonesia;
- Source Grain, Pulses at competitive prices;
- Source other Soft Commodity / Agri products;
- Develop customers in Europe, the USA and Asia;
- Develop customers in Pakistan
- Manage the operations to ensure delivery of all shipments;
- Trade Palm Oil in the global markets;
- Knowledge of edible oil tendering and thorough/extensive knowledge of using options tools
- Assists in developing strategies and plans for agricultural products
- Manages price and foreign exchange risk for agricultural products
- Manages customer relationships and product marketing
- Grow and develop marketing and distribution channels for agricultural products
- Participates and actively contributes to the global agricultural products trading team and works closely with other traders
- Coordinates logistics and execution of goods shipment
Skills and Attributes:- Strong physical agri product knowledge
- Excellent relationships throughout Asia
- Ambitious personality
- Strong inter-personal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively within a virtual team environment
- Existing base of relationships with suppliers in Asia as well as customers in Europe and the USA;
- Has a good reliable PnL over the last few years;
- Knowledge of palm futures markets in Malaysia and China;
- knowledge of soy beans and oil, sun oil, and coconut oil;
