|
EO will be responsible for managing their respective clusters of schools and ensure that activities are being implemented as planned while keeping the EDO Education and PTSMC on board KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: - Oversee IQRA program in one of the 8 Districts;
- To develop and improve work coordination with local key partners like community, local NGO and civil society;
- Working closely with the District Project Coordinator and the Education Officer will ensure successful implementation of the project activities;
- To represent SC-Alliance in Education Working group at district level and participate in other education forums;
- To manage Community Mobilizers, and work inclose collaboration with the community, public representative and teachers for the roll-out of agreed project activities;
- To develop work plan, budget & resource plan, monitoring plan for effective monitoring of all activities and financial burn rate;
- To ensure that the education program is implemented effectively in a good quality standards and ensuring consistency of the work in accordance to the programme goal and objectives;
- To submit operational plans on weekly and monthly basis, reviewing activities periodically, to ensure that project expenditures are used within limits and guidelines approved by the Project Director;
- To ensure effective, streamlined communication between education program and Logistics and other support staff.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE - Masters/Bachelors Degree in Education, Social Science or related any discipline with 4-5 years of total experience with having minimum 3 years of sector experience.
- Technical skills in one of the following areas: SMC/PTC development, teacher education, school health and nutrition.
- Ability to analyze data and prepare reports
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
