JOB PURPOSE
The Assistant Manager Development reports to the Head P&D and is responsible for assisting in the management and cost effective development and construction of assigned development projects.
NATURE & SCOPE
The jobholder is part of a team of in-house Development Managers, Development Co-coordinators/Architects and assists in the interface with consultants, contractors and suppliers to ensure that the company obtains the best value for each investment within agreed budgets. The position involves interface with Senior Management via the Head P&D in the decision making process of multiple projects. Tasks also include assistance in the preparation of budgets, coordination and feasibility analyses.
The jobholder works within the Company policies, standard operating procedures and objectives as approved by Emaar Executive Management. Creative ability is a critical attribute to translate the vision and mission of Emaar into the vision and mission statements of assigned development projects.
Externally, the jobholder interfaces with professional developers, real estate agents, consultants and contractors within the context of Company policies, standard operating procedures and objectives as approved by Emaar Executive Management.PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Degree in Architecture from a recognized and well reputed local or foreign university.
Minimum 8-12 years of experience in high-rise projects with well reputed Property development / Consultancy / Construction local or multinational company/ies.
