- Be courteous, polite, helpful and professional in customer approach.
- Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member.
- Meet and greet clients and visitors.
- Assign walk-in customers with minimum waiting time.
- Maintain accurate records on daily number of walk-ins and ensure daily reports are sent to Line Manager
- Handle complaints, customer queries, resolve issues within specified timelines (as per SLA and use of Priorities), if appropriate
- Escalate customer issues and report major problems to Superiors
- Make recommendations for improving the process of receiving walk-in customers to reduce waiting time and increase customer satisfaction
- Ensure Reception Area and Information desk are kept clean, tidy and well maintained throughout the day
- Coordinate with Office Assistance to ensure all customers are offered refreshments in the waiting area
- Ensure that messages are taken promptly and informed to the concerned staff
- Coordinate booking of meeting rooms
