We are looking for a senior web application developer having sound experience in developing scalable web applications. The candidate must have experience in software development and proven track records in following skills:
- Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Yii, Symfony, CodeIgniter, cakePHP etc. depending on your technology stack)
- Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
- Understanding of MVC design patterns
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as Angular JS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap
- Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
- Understanding accessibility and security compliance
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
- Experience with Webservices, REST, SOAP, XML, API design and integration
- Experience with cloud computing
- Programming design & analysis with database applications
- Experience with Relational databases specifically MySQL, PosrgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle
- Develop and optimize code for performance
Other Skills
- Strong analytical and design skills, excellent planning and problem solving skills
- The ability to work on your own or within the team as needs must
- Ability to evaluate new technologies and software to help other departments
- Provides technical guidance to less experienced developers
- Conference calls, interactive sessions
