In this position, you will be part of highly innovative Agile team developing web solutions within the business unit Information Technology group.
Job Description
The ASP.NET MVC Web Application Developer should design and develop software as dictated by the technical requirements of engagements. The developer is expected to be proficient in, or have the ability to promptly gain expert level understanding of key web development technologies including ASP.NET, JavaScript, HTML, MVC, WCF, Entity Framework (EF), SQL Server and XML. The developer will have the opportunity to work in Visual Studio 2010 and Visual Studio 11. The developers responsibility includes delivering high quality deliverables and working with all team members to ensure the quality of deliverables. Depending on the engagement, the developer will be a member of agile and scrum teams and is expected to be an active participant including analyzing requirements and estimating effort to implement the requirements.
Essential Functions: - Design and develop software solutions using Microsoft technologies focused on ASP.NET and related technologies.
- Understanding of MVC 3 patterns and the ability to apply and adapt standard patterns and practices to project requirements.
- Analyze technical requirements and provide development estimates, risks and options.
- Consistently demonstrate technical leadership.
- Analyze and simplify complex designs.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail along with the ability to conceptualize requirements to produce user-friendly and efficient software
Desired Skills: - Expert level proficiency with Microsoft.NET, ASP.NET, MVC and C#
- Ninja level JavaScript experience including JQuery.
- Strong familiarity with agile software development methods including Test Driven Development
- Expert Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server 2010 knowledge
- Competency with Microsoft service based technologies including WCF and EF
- Familiarity with the design, development and implementation of
- Business Intelligence applications
- SharePoint solutions
