Sr. Java/J2EE Developer

Looking for a professionally experienced Programmer/Analyst with good knowledge of programming concepts and analytical skills. The candidate will provide full life-cycle development for JAVA/J2EE applications, SOAP/RESTFul webservices, and web development.

Primary Objective(s)

-Works as part of a lean agile development team to deliver business solutions

-Development, implementation and maintenance of integrated software product(s) in the area of customer collaboration around Cisco suite of collaboration products

-Develops integration products involving RESTFul webservices, JMS based communication solutions, Open Social and JavaScript based API integration solutions

-Eager to learn new technologies and framework in the technical domain

-Interacts with Scrum masters, technical leads and other team members to ensure the most efficient solution to meet business needs and to support the efforts of other team members

-Practice test-driven development in an Agile/Scrum environment

-Provides technical support on the deployed solution

-Ensures solutions are well engineered, operable, maintainable, and delivered on schedule

Nice to have

-HTML5, AngularJS, and Bootstrap is a Plus

-Knowledge of contact center solutions / CTI development is a plus.

Application Development

●Writing new software, making modifications to existing software, or integrating software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications.

●Follow Test/Behavior Driven Development technique and and strategies

●Make low-level solution design, implementation estimates, and provides recommendations during low-level design phase of the projects

●Ensures that new systems comply with the company’s architecture blueprints and design principles.

●Accountable for the creation, review, and maintenance of all required technical documentation/ manual related to assigned software to ensure supportability and reuse.

●Provides technical guidance to other team members as well as across teams in area of subject matter expertise by possessing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.

Issue resolution

●Leads in identification and implementation of short-term and long-term solution options, including technical risk assessments.

●Acts as point of contact for technical issues for the assigned product/solution

Communications

●Provides timely status updates for areas of responsibilities within the project to the Project Manager / Coordinator.

●Actively listens, identifies, and communicates issues.

●Designs and delivers demonstrations of  software to business and technical stakeholders

Standards and Techniques

●Follow TDD/BDD design principles

Knowledge, Skills and Expertise

Required Skills:

-2-5 years of hands-one Software Development experience mainly in Java and related technologies

-Experience developing Web Service applications using WSDL/SOAP and REST

-Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

-Experience of database design and development for Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)

-Experience of integration development with Message Oriented Middleware (MOM) solutions

Formal Qualifications/Certification

Computer Science four year or related degree from a reputed institute or equivalent work experience.

Experience

●2-5 years of hands-one Software Development experience mainly in Java and related technologies

●Experience developing Web Service applications using WSDL/SOAP and REST

●Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.

●Experience of database design and development for Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)

●Has expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, MOM

●Experience of unit testing, code management tools and design tools.

●Good written and oral communication skills.

●Requires working knowledge of code versioning systems based on Git

●Effectively presents technical information across various diverse audiences.

Compensation and Benefits

It’s a full-time permanent job 5 days a week. The salary package is PKR 80K ~ 120K (negotiable).

In addition to the salary package, company covers medical benefits both for indoor / outdoor treatment for you and your family.
