Ensure 100% achievement of sales budgets and monitor the number, quality, frequency and productivity of sales calls. Investigate and report any deviations to the superiors.

Ensure equitable availability of products in short supply / new products as per plan. Monitor depot stock levels of each product and requisition additional stocks when needed through Branch Manager / Depot Manager.

Monitor filling of customers record cards and ensure that the same are complete and up-to-date.

Review sales and stock history of outlets and investigate and report reasons for non-productivity.

Evaluate sales potential of each territory; allocate sales targets, for present and potential business.

Reporting on competitors activities, potential customers and market developments. Explore new areas / customers through regular market visits.

Review and control the expenses incurred by the sales force and ensure that is as per companys policy.

Build up and maintain cordial relations with Principals Representatives and trade. Acquire first hand information about each customer in matters such as market reputation regarding trade practices etc.

Suggest, arrange and carry out specific campaigns to improve sales results.

Share knowledge about discount / bonus schemes to sales force and customers.

In case of unavailability of any Sales Officer, ensure re-arrangement of work schedules that work does not suffer.

Analyse and suggest possible solutions to any customer complaints, immediately send feedback to Head Office / Marketing Sales Manager / Area Manager regarding principles concerns or reservations.

Conducts on the job training to his field force and ensure counseling and coaching.

Perform any other related assignment / assigned by management.
